Dr. Rickard has shared his medical practice with his wife, Dr. Susan Andrews, ever since moving to Murfreesboro in 1981. This allowed him to be an active parent in raising their three children (Dorsey, David, and Katie). With the children reaching adulthood, he has been afforded more time for both his hobby of gardening and activities promoting ongoing improvement in the quality of medical care he provides. He remains chairman of the Middle Tennessee Medical Center Continuing Medical Education Committee after a decade in that position. He has been recognized as Clinician of the Year by MTMC for 2007 and is Chief of Medicine for 2010. Together with Dr Andrews he seeks to provide high quality medical care in a family-like atmosphere for both employees and patients. Click here for a humorous look at him with our therapy puppy.
